Protecting the marine environment

The Ecological Beach

The coastal strip located near the company’s terminal in Eilat, between the Dolphin Beach and the northern pier of EAPC (which is inactive), is informally named the “ecological beach” or ” EAPC shore.” For decades, due to the fact that this area was closed for visitors and divers, and due to the company’s strict safety procedures, a spectacular coral reef has developed in the ecological water that includes many species of rare corals, fish and an active marine environment. On the pillars of the dock in the harbor, a unique habitat has developed for coral species that attract rare fish and together form a protected and quiet ecological reserve.

Important

The EAPC has a storage capacity of 410,000 cubic meters of fuel products (gasoline, diesel and diesel fuel) at the Ashkelon Port. The storage system for fuel products is connected to Terminal No. 1 and Terminal No. 2 for unloading and loading. The terminals can accommodate tankers with a load of up to 130,000 tons.
